remote starter

I have a 04 f150 heritage with a factory installed remote starter. When i try to use the remote it cranks the truck over but not long enough. is there a way to adjust the cranks. and also the starter doesnt retry like it supposed to.

I can't answer the question! Don't know. I wish I had a factory remote. I don't trust the local shops to put one on. Call the ford dealer they should know.

Thanks guys. Got a hold of the guy that does installations at my local dealer and he does work on the side. Says it is a simple reprogramming problem. I'll let you know what happens.

Yeah, I'm curious too... mine cranks it over just a tiny bit too long I think.
