Thanks to all on FTE...

I just wanted to start a thread thanking every one for there insight and expertise on this truck.

May 2010 was my first diesel, 2005 F250 6.0L, and I've been on here learning since. This forum helped with lots of decisions for what tires/wheels work best to installing the updated fuel pressure spring.

I have since traded that for a 2011 F250 6.7L Job 2. I love this truck a lot, and almost daily I am on here seeing what new threads are being discussed and what I can do to improve my truck. Today I bought my first Snap-On ft/lb torque wrench and I am super excited to use it on my truck this weekend.

Basically it feels good to be part of a community of people that share a common interest. Thanks again everyone!

Ditto! There are some really smart and creative people out there. I bought my truck in March and it is the first diesel I'd ever driven (except for the occasional rental moving truck). I've learned a lot and have lots more ideas to add to my truck in 5 years when it's finally paid off!

Same here. I've been a Ford truck enthusiast since my first Ford (Expedition) back in 1999. It doesn't seem that long ago but I've been through an Excursion and still have a SportTrac for the kids. This truck tops them all by far though. I've benefited far more from FTE than I have contributed!

That is amazing as you have contributed very much to FTE.
(Thanks BTW)

Because of FTE I know WAY more about my truck than the dealer I USED to go to! I would prob still be going to the dealer for P164A a year and a half later!!

Thanks to ALL!

I echo the thoughts here. I did more educating of my dealer than he me when I just ordered mine.

This place has been a great resource for me and I am grateful.

Agreed with all of the above. I have found more resources through this site than most dealers and sales people ever even see. Yet another reason that we've got over 400,000 members and the site is growing every day.

I agree. It is wonderful to have a place to come and learn about just so much stuff. videos are awsome.all the input from people that have made mistakes trying to learn our trucks. And a great place to find some humor when we all need some. And in addition i would have to vote "Darren" for some incredable stuff. A man who gets a helo to fly out sleds is freaking awsome. And to all folks who give us those little tidbits on how to make a pain in the butt job more simplier. I just say thanks. Happy Thanksgiving to all. Paul

Hey, thanks a lot buddy!!!
I don't contribute a lot technically but I tried to add a little interest / humor to pull us through the HPFP fiasco!

Thanks again, you all are GREAT!!
IMHO, this site is the BEST!

I have to echo everything that was said so far. Everyone on this forum section has been amazing. I want to send a "Big Thank You" to EpicCowlick for answering my many PMs and taking a couple of phone calls too! FTE rocks!

I first found this forum when I was researching an issue with my 2000 F150. Then, when I decided to trade it for an F250, I again came here for help and advice. Bought a used 06 with confidence, based on the assistance I received here. When it was subsequently stolen last May, I came here first, knowing that the members here would understand my heartbreak like no others. And then deciding to replace it with a new one was a decision I reached solely based on the research and information I got here.

So yeah, y'all have helped me, probably more than I realized until just now. And have done so without regard for the fact that I'm female! Absolutely no gender bias was or ever has been present. So thank you all for being so helpful, nice, and supportive. Happy Thanksgiving!

I found this site by looking into the 6.7 PSD trucks...and I have always been involved with different types of forums. They are the best way to get problems solved and learn new things. It is also a great place just to pass the time with other people that share your interests!

I don't have my truck yet but I am for sure learning what I want to do to it when I finally get it! Thanks to everyone for that!

I also have to agree with all of the above posts. I found this site when my wife purchased her '11 Explorer LTD this spring, and it has been even more valuable now that I have purchased the '12 F350. I am on this site almost everyday, and have learned a lot from you all. Thanks again for all of the information. Hopefully I will be able to offer some tid-bits of info to someone down the road also!....
