super duty leather seats in an OBS

Any one on here done this mod?

I've been thinking pretty seriously about putting some superduty leathers in my truck.

Anyone have any pics?

I've been looking for a good deal for awhile.. Had a local guy on cl have a nice set but ended up selling them before I had a chance....

Ron did the center console in his Crew.
So I'm sure the seats are possible as well.

Go big though. Get some Mercedes' ML seats for it. Man they are nice.

Now If I could just wire in the window controllers from them too. Auto up and auto down. =\

I put SD captain's chairs in the front of mine. Requires drilling new holes in the floor. Driver side seat frame fit fine, front inside foot of the passenger frame needed to be raised up (cut, tweak, reweld) due to the downpipe hump on that side of the trans tunnel being higher. They are infinitely better than a worn out bench seat in my opinion. Nice to have an adjustable seat. The only drawback is they are a couple inches taller and if you are much over 6 feet tall, you may find your head pretty close to the headliner.

I took the old leather captains chairs out of my Aerostar. Bolted up to the frame in the truck. They are a bit taller seat too. Real comfy. Too bad they're the wrong color.
