Does it have a rabs VALVE? They can leak internally and cause a dropping pedal. It will be on the drivers frame rail towards the front of the truck.

You can by pass it. It's pretty useless anyways.

The RABS module may well be bad as Bashby suggests, however when doing the brake work did you adjust up the rear shoes and also bleed the RABS module (bleed screw on it)?

Well, try bleeding it just as you would a brake. It is on the inside of the left side frame rail about level with the drivers feet.
If you do decide to bypass it there are two hard lines going to it, so you need a short length of hard line, with the correct fittings on it, such that you can join those two lines together.

If you press the pedal several times with the engine off do you have a good pedal? If you start the engine and press the pedal does it then sink to the floor?
If the answer to both is yes then you have air in the system.

If you hold steady pressure on the pedal and it slowly sinks to the floor you either have an external leak or a defective master cylinder. For the pedal to drop the fluid HAS to go somewhere... such as the chamber in the rabs valve (eliminated), or bypassing the seal in the mc. best way to tell if there is any air.. with engine off, pump the brake a few times to empty vaccum from the booster. release the pedal for a few seconds, then push down and note how far the pedal goes down, then give it 3-4 pumps. If the pedal stops higher up you either have air in the system or rear brakes need to be adjusted

FIXED! I took it to a friends garage this morning and it took 2 hours of bleeding and driving and more bleeding and driving to finally get the air out and to have a good pedal, for some reason it just would not bleed all the air out without driving it also,my friend said he's run into this problem before thanks for all the input, L.J.
