1995 F150 door adjustments??

both of my doors are loose and door will not shut tight. How do I adjust them?? 1995 F150

More than likely your striker bolts on the jam are worn out. (look for deep grooving and loss of material). This is mainly caused by worn out hinge bushings.

Just R&R it.

there was a piece of plastic around them. I found a piece stuck to the bottom of the bolt. I assume if I buy 2 new ones it may fix the problem although probably not a long term fix.

Nope. Wont fix the problem.

X2 on the hinge bushings.

The complete repair will most likely be hinge bushings (if they move at all when you lift up on an open door), and the strike bolts replaced and adjusted properly after the hinges are done so the door is not flopping around.
