Hey can anyone tell me if the front axles of my 4X4 2005 F150 are suppose to be engaged when the shift on the fly switch is in the 2wheel position. We just bought this truck and I noticed that the front axles and the front driveshaft are all turning when were driving, I dont think this is right. I had a 2001 F150 and it didnt do this, THX in advance.

The front axles should not be engaged while in the 2wd mode. It sounds as if you lost vacuum pressure or something on the system. I would check for loose connections etc. When you switch to 4wd high or low the front axle is suppose to lose its vacuum thus engaging the axle, not the other way around.
