one wire alt. on flat head v8

will the one wire alt. do ok in my 1950 f3 with flat head v8, thanks in advance

yes, the one wire is the way to go.

How does one go about converting an original 3-wire generator to a single wire alternator? I've been contemplating the switch, and my impatience and lack of spending cash wants me to go with the 6 volt.
