Coolant filter between egr(delete) and oil cooler?

Coolant filter between egr(delete) and oil cooler?
At some point in the next few months I will be doing the whole flush, egr delete, oil cooler and coolant filter. Just got to thinking that I could plumb a filter between the egr delete tube and the oil cooler, would be quite simple really. That would keep all the crap out of the cooler no? Wouldn't it also receive a higher volume of flow vs the heater hose? Has this been done?

The coolant flows from the block into the oil cooler then into the EGR cooler. If the filter stops up you are still virtually blocking or slowing flow to the oil cooler, at least in my way of thinking.

Ok my bad don't know why but I was thinking the coolant flowed the other way. As for blockage the filter should have a bypass I would think. Either way won't do what I was thinking so moot.
