Turbo, Ford rebuild

About 1000 miles ago I blew the Turbo in my '07. Thankfully, I had the extended warrenty. So parts and labor were covered. Here's the questions? How good are these rebuilds, were there any updates. Whats my limit with this Turbo. I'm afraid to work it, fearing it will blow again. (using an actual gauge with the the warning light set at 25psi).

Work the heck of it. Its under warranty!
More turbos fail from sisssy driving and not hard use.
Drive it hard and if it fails go back to dealer and demand a new one.

All I can tell you is my experience. My 1st turbo had a blown seal at 33K. It was replaced with a Ford reman and that lasted until 42K before it developed a blown seal. I was out of warranty at that point, so I got a Powermax. 8 mos and 8K mi later, no problems. Out of warranty, the powermax is a no brainer. If Ford is paying, I take theirs and see what you get.
