ficm

i have a 2004 f250 and i was wondering if anyone knows how long a ficm and the rest of the computers will hold there memory or if this even a problem i've had the batteries unhooked for a month and a half while i've been working on my pickup. will i need to take it to the dealership before i try to fire it up?

You should be fine. It will have lost stored data like DTC's and learned data but will re-learn after you get it running. All the software you need to run should still be there.

No issues with the programing getting lost,start her up.

good to hear thank you guys its been way to long since i've had my new pickup running its been down longer than i've got to drive it LOL
