hi
is there anyone who know how I can remove the front screens (driver and passenger side) ?
I had a sun foil of them, but I need to remove them for the TÜV (calls here in Germany they wont tolerate any of the front screens) but, after the analysis I pu a new on the screens and its easier to remove the screens
If they're factory windows....er, screens, removing the tint would be tough, but removing the glass from the door isn't too bad, once the door panel is off its fairly straight forward. Any cheapo haynes or chilton manual will explain it all, I know LMC truck .com sells no tint glass, Google LMC truck and take a look
The OP is talking about tint on the front windows. German laws do not allow window tint on any of the front windows the rear windows can be as dark as you like. The front windows have a slight tint in the glass from the factory. When i got mine tinted the installer would only go 35% (27% is the darkest legally on the fronts in Florida) and with what was in the glass i would be at 27%.
Bigbear are you talking abut removing aftermarket sun foil or replacing the entire screen?
I'm talk about removing the aftermarket sun foil but for this I need to remove the windows, because the foil is very difficult to paste without any crumples.
And so I think its easier to remove the windows.
