Can't turn the heat down
1998 ford F-150 XL 4.2L engine... One day I couldn't turn down the heat, I get heat from the blower in all temperature setting on the climate control. When on AC the compressor engages normally, though I haven't checked my AC coolant, if it was that then I should at least get cool outside air on the "panel" setting. Not sure how to work this,, and Ideas?

there is an electric motor operated "blend door" tht mixes hot and cool air to get the expected temp. Your motor, or cam / gearbox to the door is broken. I think its located under the radio, above the transmissiosn hump, more to drivers side. Take off the plastic cover to see, then operate the temp ****.
