2001 F250 v8 5.4 hard start in morning
My 2001 f250 has been having trouble starting in the morning for the last 2 months. It will start, but the idle will be low and then eventually die. also when this happens, white smoke comes out of the tailpipe. Sometimes it takes a couple trys before it starts running normal. then, it starts fine the rest of the day. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

What part of the country/Canada are you in? I.e., What are your morning temps?
How many miles on the engine?
You don't happen to move your truck short distances in your driveway do you? White smoke in the V10's is common after short moves.
Is your coolant level changing noticiably?

check coolent levels white smoke in a gasser is water in combustion if that is ok theres more to look at

No moving short distances and coolant level is correct and stable. Thanks
