Question

Cold Air Intake

I'm looking for some advice on cold air intakes. I have a 99 F250 diesel that was built on 8/98. My question is did 99 models have two different air box designs? If so, what is the difference and what will work on my truck?

I been reading some old threads, where the guys were using a NAPA filter connected to intake.They just removed air box and clamped it on.

pretty much and you can get replacement filters at fleet filter.com for less than I can find elsewhere
