tranny isssue on 6.2
I thought I would let everyone know that ihad the 1-2 shift issue taken care of.
I read here just how many people were having the same issue i was. Not only was my new 250 sputtering and trying desperatly to shift after sitting, but when the upshift occurred it damn near jar my hands off the wheel. I took it in the dealer said 3 day down time....didn't plan for that.....I was able to get the 05 250 5.4 liter back up for a couple of days....dropped the 2011 off...2 days later all 3 upper shift solenoids were replaced...I was told the reason for the down time was the tech hade to drop the pand to the numbers off a band to get the correct parts....OK....runs great now...I tow 3-4000lbs 5 days a week...this truck works....I also hade a cold air intake installed...a noticable difference in power and torque...u can also hear the difference....very throaty...no difference in mpg to date...
