My spark plug blew out of cylinder driver side closet to the front grill "Sorry dont remember the firing order" Well, I figured the thread is all gone and as we know, it is a beast to get down that hatch to the plug hole. Does anyone know how easy it is to take apart the valve cover to get closer to the plug holes, so i can try to helicoil it or something. i am afraid to even approach the stealership with this.
For clraififcation, I bought a back tap spark plug chaser that barely caught any thread when i put it down the hole, the spark will not thread in, as I am guessing the top threads are all gone and the little that are left, the threads on the plugs are not long enough to get to it.
Help me out here, i am going to try and fix so i can drive it to the stealership and trade it back in....Dunno if i will be back with ford again as my first impression is not great, too much problem "this is not the first"
