I'm looking into getting the Cooper STT 35/12.50/20 which is actually, according to the Cooper website, 34.66/12.50/20. Will they rub on my totally stock 2011 F-350? Also, is anyone running this setup?
I have those exact tires on the stock rims with 2.5" coil spacers in the front. I have noticed slight rubbing on the radius arms when the wheel is fully turned. I'm not sure what it would be like at the stock height but i would recommend putting in at least a 1" lift first.
there wont be any rubbing on stock height besides the rud that happens on the radius arms when fully turned i have similar size tires and they rubbed the same amount when it was stock and when i lifted it a little.
I ran the 35" tall Toyos on my stock 2006 truck. And had no rubbing. So the height is not the problem. Any rubbing would be from the width or lack of wheel offset with the wider tire.
My Michelins are about gone. How have those Coopers held up on your trucks? The 12" wide tires on stock rims are a slight pinch, wondering if that will effect the tread life. I tow heavy almost daily, so I try to stay in the recommended rim widths for a give tire. And I'm not interested in buying new rims. Probably will have to stay with a tire closer to stock tire widths.
The tires have held up well so far but I only have 9k miles on them so far and don't tow often. The key is to rotate often. The tires were a pain to mount having a narrow wheel and wide tire. I am not looking forward to replacing them.
I have 35x12.5x20 on my 09 and they do not rub on the arm the only rubbing I got was on the cardboard well which I pulled back an inch to clear. And no added lift, But don't know if the KR are higher than others.

Those are nice custom wheels and the reason you have no rubbing. They add additional offset which effectively moved the tires to the outside a bit. For anyone running OEM wheels, the wider tires will contact the control arm.
