Cooper STT vs Toyo MT

I have the cooper stt on my o8 and they are going on my new truck when it come in. should be in 1 to 2 weeks. I live off road and i have tried about every tire out there and the cooper seem to hold up the best for me. If you rotate your tire every 3000 mile u can get alot more life out of your tire. You can almost double the life of the tire.

I like Cooper Tires and have had good luck with them on other trucks.
But the 35x12.5R20LT is approved for a minimum rim of 8.5" and recommended rims of 10" The Ford OEM rims are 8" so they are below the recommended width. Also the Coopers are only rated 3195lbs vs the stock sized tires being up around 3750 lbs. ( of course the rims are only rated at 3000lbs, So it's probably a mute point for either tire)
I'd be interested to see how they wear when pinched on a narrow rim.

The tires are great in the rain/snow/mud. They have a little hum at highway speeds, not as loud as a set of Nitto Mud Grapplers I had on one truck. I didnt notice much change in fuel usage, but I had the stock tires on for less than 1000 miles. My tire dealer gave me $235.00 each for the Michelins
