Prices must pretty pretty drastic 'round KC. We picked up our 05' XLT w/70k miles for $7,300. We'd gladly sell it to him for 10 grand, even has 1/3 of the miles that the other ones have!
He's been looking and looking found a few wrecked ones but nothing that didn't have 200,000 miles and still want around 10 grand.
Yep. I've noticed that too. I'll send YOU a PM in a minute...

Oddly enough, the new one (automatic) is getting BETTER mileage than the old one. (5 speed)
Sales gerbil says it's because of newer automatic transmission technology. Both are four cylinder engines, the 01 gets about 23 mpg, the 08 is getting about 26.
Yup, the newer ones have 6-speed autos now. The wifey has been eyeing the newer ones for further down the road and I was hoping closer to 30 mpg's with the 4 cylinders
Right now we are getting 24 with our 3.0/auto combo, I'm pretty happy about the gas mileage that it pulls off while being an SUV
