Leaf springs

Leaf springs
I got a 2000 Ranger 4 door and the leaf springs bushings are shot. I cant seem to find them anywhere except Ford. Does anybody know where to find them? I also have that rear sag in rear which I dont like the look of it. Can I use some 4x4 leaf springs from the same year? Will they fit and will they lift rear the 2 or 3 inches or is it better to use lift blocks cause I think being that I cant find those damn bushings I can get some used springs plus the the 4x4 it fix bushings nand lift it one shot. Let me know if you guys think it would work out?

I don't know for certain that the 4x4 springs will fit, but I believe they will. Most of the extra 4x4 height comes from a block between the axle & spring.

*I just looked up your location= FLA. that would explain the dried out bushings and non rusted shackles

Thanks, It a FL truck basically rear bushions it the leaf spring are all dried out and cracking so was going to replace them. Ill look into that place for everything. I went to autozone and they didnt even list them so guy went into book for energy suspension and they wernt listed but ill check thru website. Ford want $8 per each side of each spring and thats without pin so $32 just for rear part. I forgot offhand for front with shackle but it wasnt cheap.

The Ford shop manual lists five different rear springs for the 2000, makes no difference if 4x4 or not. number three highest rating and letter "N" is lowest. Info on you door tag.

Well I just got some but have a question. Mine on the truck are 2/1 with code F87A and the ones I picked where out of a 2003 supercab (unknown engine/drivetrain) 3/1 with code 3L54. You said something about spring codes I know but do you have a link or info on how the read these nums? You said "3" highest and "N" lowest.

I can read mine off my truck but bought springs from savage yard and forgot all about reading the door jam. I just saw a set off springs on a 2002+ rangers with 3/1 vs my 2/1. For a 8 yr old truck springs and bushing look almost brand new.
