Tank Fill Hose

Anybody know the inside diameter of the hose that connects the fill neck to the rear tank? I fixed my pickup tube and pulled out the small inner hose and metal ring from the filler neck but the larger, outer hose is cracked at the tank connection and leaking diesel.

2" O.D. should be right. I checked the neck on a tank I had at the shop.

Thanks guys. I gotta get me a new one. Is it just generic hose or does it need to have a certain rating?

It will need to be rated for diesel fuel minimally.

Ok. The reason I ask is because all the vent mod write ups I've seen say nothing about addressing the quality of the hose.

Not sure what the hutch mod is. If its the same as the vent or harpoon then not yet. I was just gonna do the pickup tube and decided to gut the fill neck while at it. I plan to vent it soon but for now it fills just like it always has except for the leaky crack.

I think because most use the OE hose, no a replacement as in your case.
