I'm no electrical guru, so be patient please. When hooking up one of the switches (example rear RV camera) I have a red (hot) wire and green (ground). Do I just wire-in the hot to one of the switch wires (probably the 10 amp one violet/green) and connect the ground wherever I can find a good connection for ground, like a screw or bolt in the metal? Is that all their is to it? Thanks
Here is a picture where I know the upfitter fuse box grounds to.
It is accessable from the drivers side behind the dash.
If you have the flow through console, I think slightly lower than the cup holder area.

jcbuch, Not sure the name, but it has always worked pretty good for the past couple of years. Now that I have a new truck I'm re-installing it. Has a 7" screen and the camera is mounted on the back of my 5vr RV and everything is hard wired.
