I believed all you guys that said the nose of the new F250 "would grow on me" and I'd "learn to like it". Well, I'm still waiting. I've seen at least 30 F250s and higher and even walked around them at the auto shows, but I still think the nose is butt ugly. I love the truck, but hate the nose styling if it can even be called that. I appreciate my 2010 every time I see a 2011. More power to you 2011 guys, but yuck!
So what's your point? Are you calling "all you guys" liars?
Nope, but my point is I'm still waiting to turn. I know several people that at first didn't like the 2011 nose job either, but the more they saw it the more they liked it. It's having the opposite effect on me. Every time I see the 2011 nose I think I hope they change it for the better on the 2012 model. Just my .02 that after adjusted gross inflation is .0075!
I like it the 1st time I saw em and even like more the more I see em. It was the 08-10 I didn't care for. I had a chance to buy an 09 very right. I. Couldn't get past the nose and inside the truck.
Opinions and preferences are like *********s. Everybody's got one. A year ago I could have waited a few months for the 2011s to arrive, but once I saw photos of the 2011s nose I snapped up a 2010!
I also feel jipped that I missed out on the chrome garnish that the XLT trucks had pre-1997. I liked that. The XLs need to go back to 'FORD' pressed into the tailgate metal like previous generations. This whole "just slap a couple of emblems on the back" that everyone is at sucks. Especially since they get bigger and bigger each year; Ford, Chevrolet, RAM, Toyota, etc. Trucks may need to look masculine, but it is to the point that it makes those that drive them are compensating for insecurity.
