My rear tank(metal) has a leak in the seam, lots of rust around seam.I am leaning towards buying a replacement tank. They seam reasonable enough.Rockauto has them for about 75.00.I am sure JC Witney has them also.Has anyone bought them/used them.I am sure if I bring my tank to the repair shop its gonna be about the same to boil it and have it soldered. This is the third time this tank is coming down.I want it to be the last.
Second question is after doing my brakes(all four) the RABS light is on .The pedal is a bit hard.I know I m gonna do another round of bleeding. How do I get it to shut off.
Yep, crack it open, pump the pedal, close it, and release the pedal. When it's a clear stream with no bubbles, it's good to go.
When bleeding, start at the farthest point and work your way around to the closest point. (Typically rear right, rear left, front right, front left, then ABS last on these.)
