Hey guys I have had a bunch of different Ford trucks over the years but the one I have longed for but never got my hands on has been a 73-79. Ever since my dad passed on a 77 F150 shortbed in favor of an 81 F150 for its 8 foot bed, I have been in love with the dentside Ford. Today I finally got one. Its a 1977 F100 2 wheel drive regular cab with an 8 foot bed. The kid I bought it from says its a 351w, and while it is definitely a windsor motor I kinda feel like it is a 302 being that a 351w was never available in this truck from the factory. Could have been swapped, though. It was redone about 15 years ago but it is definitely showing its age. The bed is overall very nice as are the floors and front clip but there is some pretty serious rust over each drip rail (see pic), along with a little bit at the base of both front cab pillars (behind the front wheel, behind the fender). Anyone ever deal with the drip rail rust? I'd hate to have to change the cab being that the rest of it is in great shape, cab corners and all. Anyway, here are a couple quick pictures. Not bad for $750 if you ask me. I will take more when I get it home this week!

Actually before I decided on this truck I looked at a 79 F250 4x4 where the drip rail was just about detatched from the cab! I also have many friends who are very good body men so I will get this baby patched up. The rest of the truck is a piece of cake resto.
