Bumper Pull

Is there a standard hight for a rear ball hitch? and what is it? (2 5/16) I have a lifted truck and trying to decide what drop hight of receiver hitch to get.

It all depends on the hitch height on the trailer. I have a 5 inch rise hitch for our one trailer and a 3 inch drop pintle for the other. If you don't have a trailer, but want a hitch that can pull something in a pinch, get one of the adjustable ones that have the 3 ball sizes (1 7/8, 2, and 2 5/16) on it.

I enjoy laughing at people towing a trailer that looks like its doing a wheelie cause they don't have the right hitch. Slightly nose up is ok because the trailer should level out somewhat as its loaded, but a lot is bad, so is nose down.
