About not using the front tank

100lbs is 100lbs.

I average 50miles a day I guess.....stopping for fuel every 3-4days is what I aim for in my situation. So if I did 150miles a day...I'd triple my fuel purchase too

About not using the front tank

This is what I do, and it works pretty well. I run off one tank, and when it gets to about half way, I fill up when I have a chance, then drive till the first tank is empty, then switch over to the full tank, without having to search out a gas station to fill up the one empty tank you are using, because the other one is full.

So I'm trying not to spend cash on a tank I don't need. BUT, of course I don't want to ruin it either.
.i thought i would never need two tanks either, till the low pressure front tank pump went out.sure was nice to be able to flip the switch and go on home in that thunder storm!

I can't afford to fill one up anymore. Good excuse to not go to work anymore.
