That's not an F3. It has an F1 rear end, F1 springs, a five lug spare, an F-1 bed, F1 rear fenders, and F1 wheels, tires and hubcaps. The only F3 parts I see are the hood emblems and the front fenders...
Oh my!! I think you're right. Man what is up with this stuff on ebay? That truck is beautiful. Beyond beautiful. It's mint. WHY call it something it's not? And why does that guy keep saying "this car"? I noticed Stallone said "look at that car" when they showed him that truck for his movie. A car is a car. A truck is a truck.
maybe that guy should stick to selling "CARS". Neat as the truck is, I wouldn't buy it from HIM! He shouldn't be allowed to drive it either!
It is a nice truck though, but not a perfect resto, even I saw some things that weren't original, bolts and such. Again not knocking it just knocking the guy trying to sell it. that being said...man I got a long ways to go! wow.....I caught a glimpse of the frame and what I saw looked pretty rough/ pitted. Not an expert but, still a nice truck in my eyes..
Where to begin.... I don't even want to start. This kind of crap upsets me. If you're going to dump a ton of money on a restoration, then why not do the proper research before starting????
Some poor person will buy this truck and will be surprised when they find out about the inaccuracies.
This is what happens when you buy a title off a farm truck and slap it on your project -- is it stolen? I'd hate to scrub the frame to see what numbers are on it.
It could be a converted F-3. If someone saw my truck they would never believe it was a F-3 either. The only hint of F-3 left on my truck is the cowl emblems. But, if it is an F-3 converted to an F-1 the buyer should know about it for sure....
