No it was while driving went through a yellow light kinda got on it a lil and when I let out it died restarted it on the roll started fine drove two more miles and then pulled into my campground and let out on the throttle it died and never could restart it pulled my icp still nothing. Then let it sit for a day went to start it and after long cranking it almost started so that led several people to suggest that it was my dummy plugs. Also what should I be looking for on the stand pipes.
same as on the dummy plugs.
I think you may have something else going on with it dieing on the go. o-ring issues will in most cases not cause dying while driving, and will not normally restart when hot.
what you have going on I dont know. take a look at the ipr valve that would be suspect but there are lots of options other then that ot can be as well.
well I got down to my IPR tonight and the screen looked as if it had a tiny tiny hole in it should that effect it at all it hhas only been in my truck for 2 weeks. What is the ot?
a tiny hole could infact be the issue. Im more prone to belive that as a sorce of concern. if the screen has a hole in it that means debris have travled threw it and can easly hang the valve. that has been my experance anyway.
now the most common cause for this to happen is not cleaning all dirt from around the oil cooler when replacing it.
you can get a new screen kit but.... there is no way I know of to clean the valve. IMO replace the ipr if there is a hole in the screen, only replace the screen if it is pluged or sucked in.
