excursion 6.0 w/o speed

excursion 6.0 w/o speed
i need help my 05 6.0 diesel excursion does not accelerate. i'll be doing 50mph then it drops down to idle. I can put the pedal to the floor and nothing... no acceleration or nothing pretty soon Im chugging along or stalling out. Dealer cant seemto figure this out. No codes pop up. Best vehicle i have ever owned not ready to scrap it anyone got clues

Does the truck restart after doing this or does the engine have to cool down?

does it blow smoke from the tail pipe when this happens.
a few things come to mid right off.
possibel egr valve being hung open by carbon
ebp sensor biased
or a trubo that is sticking sometimes
