They pound out from the bottom (don’t ask me how I know), take the doors off first by removing the hinge bolts if you can, makes it much easier.

Many previous posts about this.

I believe because you don’t have 25 posts yet you can not use the search feature (?) but there is a work around available. Go to Google and use the Advanced Search and enter your search item and under “Search within a site or domain” enter 1948 - 1960 F1, F100 & Larger F-Series Trucks - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums

I did a search for "remove door pins” but they have a shelf life and will self-destruct and disappear in 4 hours 18 minutes and 22 seconds.

Yeah, "if" you can get the door off by removing the hinge screws you can turn it upside down and pound them out much easier.

That's how I got mine out but if you can't get the hinge screws out, keep pounding and use lots of PB Blaster. They are stubborn but eventually will come out...

Thought I saw a "special tool" for hinge removing. Looks like a special size c clamp. I think I saw it in Dennis Carpenter's catalogue. I never removed mine, so I'll go with "heat and BFH"

Don't spend money on the special tool. It'll break before you even try to use it. A few have tried that took without any success. Heat, PB Blaster, a punch and a BFH is all the tools needed.

When they say heat, they mean Oxy acetylene heat ………either on the pins or hinge screws and pins. And maybe an air chisel with the punch bit and hearing protection?
(….did you read the search?)

Those "special hinge pin removal tools" are worthless!

I got mine out finally by heating the hlnge cherry red and a punch with a BFH Thats after soaking it for days and useing an impact hammer punch. If you do remove the door, drill a pilot hole first so you can realine the door when putting it back together. Wish I did

Just a small hole from the outside of the flat on the inside part of the hinge into the cab door jam just as a reference as to where the doors were mounted.

………did your search results help?

I would definitely take them off before beating on them.....easier on the cab/door pillars. Soak them for a day or 2 with PB blaster then use a punch and a vise to hammer them out. Something that works well for me is a concrete anchor installation tool (really a big punch with a larger diameter head than a typical punch). Get a couple and you can grind the ends down to the diameter you need to just fit the hole. Works well for leaf spring pin removal also. Regards.
