I jumped in my 01 f 350, and the blower for the heater/ac does not turn on. I could feel heat bleeding out the dash as the truck warmed up, but the fan will not kick in. I tried all different positions of the dial from ac to defrost and no dice, the fan will not turn on. Any ideas on where to start? Which fuse/fuses should i look at, and if need be if the motor easy to replace? Thanks for the help!
First think I think, is to download the owner's manual for your year, if you don't already have it. Then look up the fuses section, find the heater fan fuse and check it. You can download the owner's manual here...
If the fuse is OK, then the next thing would be the heater fan relay. That may be listed in the owner's manual, I'm not sure and I don't think it is in mine. But you could look. If it's not, you're going to need someone with a 1999 service manual.
