OBDII Scanner
It aint an AE, but does work. Fetched a code from a buddy's auto 7.3(01), but when hooked to mine, during the "live data", it'll shut it off(truck, 99.5 6spd)). Cant figure it out. No fuses..etc, popped or wrong. Any ideas?

the scanner shuts the truck off, as if i turned the key off, during the "live data" scan.
Buddy's truck had the ses light on, so i hooked scanner to it, with key in "on", fetched the code(p0500), then i did the "live scan" on his truck, which you need to have truck running, during its cycle, never gave his truck a burp, hesitation..naughta, worked great, but do the "live data" to my truck, and when it does its cycle, whamo, truck dies.

ALWAYS killed my truck, during that cycle. So when he showed up, thought it be a good time to try ur out, see if it killed his, which it didnt.
No codes on my ride, just want it to work right. I've cleaned all the terminals, inspected the cables..etc, atta loss here. Just purchased it about 2mon ago, (the truck), and dig'n it.
