MR Gasket and others make them. There is realy no advantage to this as the airflow increase is minimal. You would be better off bying the intake for a 4bbl or using the 2bbl you got now.
im not exatly doin it for increased airflow holley 4bbls are easier to come by and i have one that is in good workin condition with an electric choke which i feel will be an advantage to the 2bbl thats on there now i just wanna make sure it is a sound idea and notin bad will result from it

I agree. If you want more getup and go, replace the OEM 2100, assuming you have the later 2V, with a 1.08 or 1.14 venturi 2100. The original 1.02s were/are undersized. Price would be about $160 for a rebuild. Or replace the intake and get a new 4V.
The standard 4bbl used on the Ys is the 390CFM holley. You can use a 450 or even a 500 edelbrock but this is usualy used on the hotter engines.
The parts used on a holley 2bbl are identical to the 4bbl. My local parts store has a kit sitting on the shelf as millions of theese 2bbl holleys were used. Same with the autolite 2100 that 46Y stated. Parts are fairly common and easily available.
A 2bbl 350cfm holley is available new with electric choke. My opinion on electric chokes is that they suck. They rarely work properly and break the choke too early for driving. If you cant run a manual choke you probobly should not own a Y block as they are a bit maintnance attentive.
if you have a late intake for a wide base 2bbl then they make a adaptor to go from a 2bbl to a 4bbl, they're easy to find at any swap meet for $10 and will work just fine for what you want. if you have a early intake with 3 bolt carb then you're better off switching intakes to a late 4bbl.

I did this back in high school, I ran a Holley 390cfm and it improved my mileage while towing and when I wasn't stomping it
