2004 F350. Here's my situation. A few months ago I had a shop install a new oil cooler, flush the cooling system & install a Liberator EGR delete kit. I pull a 16,000 lb. 5th wheel camper with my truck. On a 150 mile trip (half flat & half hills) I loose about 12 oz. of coolant. It's puking out of the coolant reservoir. Don't know if that is where it is all going. I have a Air Raid filter kit & 4" turbo back exhaust & Hyper Tech Max Energy programer. My question is, do I have a head gasket problem?
mine started puking coolant and started overheating soon after.. turned out to be a waterpump i have the early 04. i think its in september that they changed to a better pump. im thankful that it wasnt gaskets.

I reckon mine's an early 04 also, the valve covers say 03.
Best of luck to you, however if you haven't blown the gaskets already then your likely to have this problem or transmission problems or turbo problems in the future. The Air Raid intake and Hypertech tuner are known to cause expensive repairs in the 6.0. Just my $0.02
It goes below the min. level every time I tow with it.
So after it pukes, and you dont add any more coolant does it still puke the next trip?
What I am getting at is, I have a motorcycle that the coolant was overfilled from the dealer, and the first few times I rode it It would puke coolant, but after that it never puked coolant again even in extreme heat and conditions. This happened to a lot of people with the same bike, specs were wrong and called all kinds of issues.
I would let it puke, then not refill and see if it does on the next trip. Bring some cooant though just in case it gets too low.
I have an '06. It would always puke when I towed and end up with a cold level about .5" below the low level mark. I made a mark with a sharpie that is .5" below the low fill line and never fill above that when cold. Hasn't puked since I started doing that close to 4 years ago.

Y'all aren't too far off. The min. full line is actually the max line now. Ford has put stickers on some of the degas bottles to reflect that. Apparently they didn't account for expansion or something like that. Mine has a sticker on it too.
