Question modified twin i beams

I was wondering if anybody out there has modified there twin I beams to lower the slick. I heard bad stuff about after market ones because they're made of mild steel. So I was wondering if they've done it before. Garbs said that u can put the end off. Another beam and it will drop it. I want to see them so I need pics so I can get an idea on how I'm gonna make mine. Thanks

Maybe ask Garbz if he can draw a picture to give you a rough idea of how it was done.....that would give you some idea of where to start.

If i wanted to lower my truck i would just buy one of the 2 kits offered, to modify anything is a pain in the ****! trust me, i would know.

and as long as you dont run into any stumps you should be fine.
