Any 5 speed swap threads lookin to do one in my 86. Also are all the edu engine harness the same mine is burned up due to idiots workin on the truck before I owned it. Don't want to go the carb route. Also seen the painless wire harness but would have to go the mass air route. I am open to ideas this is my first bronco. Inma be usin the truck for some minor plowing and towing but more for my wife to drive around in and have some fun.

fordfuelinjection.com will have what you need regarding a harness. since you have an 86 i would go MAF for sure. but stay clear of painless and Edu. expensive
you want to search for a ZF swap. that is the only 5speed i would run.

Are you having issues with the Auto? If not, keep it. But I'll agree with what Kemi said.
If you're intent on doing a 5 speed transmission, go with a ZF instead of the M5OD unless you get a killer deal on one. If you are using the Bronco for any kind of serious pulling, go ZF for sure. And, for what you want to do with the injection, definitely shcek FordFuelInjection.com. Get in contact with him and let him knwo your plans, he will set you up with what you need.

85-86 bronco's had a different efi harness compared to 87-92. 93+ is where you would find a Maf harness for a 302/auto. the problem is those years had an e4od tranny.
what tranny do you have now? its either an AOD or a C6 which wouldnt have overdrive.
