I spent the last hour searching but cant find anything. Just recently pulling my trailer loaded and empty it feels like my rear ABS is working like crazy intermittantly on dry pavement. Rear wheels are not locking up but the brake pedal is pullasting up and down and a loud pullsating sound coming on and off in the back ground like the brakes are grabbing and releasing in the rear. Sometimes it does it and sometime it does not on the same stretch of highway.
I'm thinking possibly the speed sensor in the the diff housing doing this, but the speedo works fine still.
For now I just unplugged the 20 amp abs fuse to the ABS and it brakes fine but without the ABS engagment.
I know there is a brake forum but you guys in here are pretty good.
do you have trailer brakes if not the weight of the trailer pushing the truck and could be setting the ABS. If you do the you could try turning you brake box up so the trailer is doing more of the stopping and see if that helps

Yeah, double axle braking and are set before the point of locking the tires on the trailer. With them turned all the way up I can lock all 4 tires empty with no issues.
EDIT: When the trailer is loaded, with the brakes on, on the trailer, the front of the trailer even nose dives about 1 inch if not more driving the back of the truck down putting more weight on the rear tires.
