I've seen a picture, cab was painted normal two tone, bed was solid of the main color. didn't look horrible, just odd as I'm used to that line (especially with the moulding) all the way to the rear.

When I bought my '62, it was dark blue and just slightly lighter blue on the hood indents, rear fenders and front fender/sides. Dark blue went around the back and top of cab, bed sides and tailgate. Paint colors were seperated by 1/4 white tape "pinstriping". Probably looked pretty sharp in the 70's, but that 1/4" tape didn't last long in my garage. Not that it matters now, it's all primer anyway. Thinking of following a similar scheme with the two tone blue, I do like the way it looked minus the tape. The blues were pretty close to the same color, almost couldn't tell the difference at times.

I'm doing my 64 SB in 2tone with PPG Vibrante colection in dark blue metal flake and silver metal flake top. I have only painted the back of the cab to make sure of the color I wanted, but I got. I am convinced that staright lines will not work on this body style. Something this boxy will have to let the paint scheme do the talking and soften the box body. I feel with the right layout it will look good, but that is just IHO. I just got the Mustange II front end welded on and it looks pretty good. I'll post pictures later this week.
