Yep, stock fuel will be alright for stage 1's, although electric fuel systems are a good upgrade, they are not necessary for ones.

with stage 1 injectors and the mods you have, 310-325ish. Travis did 352 with stage 1's, tw chip, exhaust, electric fuel, intercooler...

You need to keep in mind your tranny though. They do not like the extra horsepower. I would look into a cooler at the very least. My tranny is the only reason i haven't upgraded injectors yet.

Thanks. I was looking at the deeper transmission pans. Or should I just get a better cooler? With or without cooling fan?

I would forget the deeper pan and spend the money on a huge cooler, one like this one. http://www.dieselsite.com/index.asp?...ROD&ProdID=205

Like James said, trash the stock cooler and get the true cool. I did plus a smaller hayden cooler. I got lots of cooling. Also, like said, forget the deep pans, all they do is leak. I never had any luck with the one I had. Of course if you want to buy it.....LOL!

pretty sure the stock fuel system will handle 180+ cc with big nozzels, but youll hit some low pressure when getting on it. best to do electric fuelwhen the funds are there!

stage 1s are a GREAT power adder,do able on stock tranny, up to 350 if supported correctly, strong oil, turbo and fuel.

only thing is... they will leaving you wanting more and your tranny screaming mercy! hehehe

Depends on what condition your tranny is in. Stock injectors will kill an E4OD. Now throw another 70cc of fuel in there and 150 more horsepower..... Even if the tranny is in great condition, the extra power will still stress it. This of course also depends on how you drive. But my guess is if your looking for more power, its not just to have. Its to use, so your driving style will reflect that.

Plenty of E4ODs have been killed by stock rigs muchless ones with any extra power. If your trans has never been rebuilt(or even if it has and not upgraded) you can almost bet big on it crapping on you if you use, whether working or playing, the power you're after. Just ask Glenn(Oldbird somethin or other). I think he is on like E4OD 3 or 4.

So you can get your power adders and hope it doesn't tap out or you can juice that monster up and give it a fighting chance. You can also upgrade the torque converter and/or valve bodies to your advantage and it will help you spend some of that power too.

What Darin said, get a good valve body for the trans (about $250).

Stock fuel will support I's or II's easily but electric is better.

Joey at Terminator Engineering can upgrade your HPOP to a modded 17* for a good price.

I'm on trans 3 and I was in the middle of nowhere of course and pressed for time, so I didn't get what I wanted. I wanted a BTS, Woods or RacerX but the rebuild I got seems to be OK and its got a triple disk TC. I use Shraefers (sp) oil, that's what BTS uses and when I get home I'm going to do what Darin did, RacerX valve body!!
