Howdy do John.. Did you get all you wanted done, done?? I put stuff back in the Solara and cleaned up some in the truck. Put all my straps and stuff back in my duffle bag..
Both doors are ready to polish now. Came in with a very sore lower back from standing so long but it has settled down now after sitting on the heating pad and a sit down in my massaging chair...so tomorrow I'll start on those rear fenders..
Good morning Steve, surprisingly doing pretty good so should be good to go on those fenders today, my shoulder has been fairly good too lately. Not sure what I'm doing but it seems to be working...lol
Good evening Nova Scotia, Steve, John, Brian, seventy and all who lurk here.
Depending on what`s wrong with your back John, I find that heat and moderate exercise does wonders for mine.
Wet sanding starting with 1200 grit and then 1500, 2000, 2500 and lastly with 3000 grit. Then 3M polishing compound .. It's very time consuming but looks very nice when done. Once the truck is completely assembled there is one more stage of polishing with finer pads...
Good day/evening Nova Scotia, Steve, John, Brian, seventy and all who lurk here.
We`ll have to wait a dew days before our warming trend gets here....if we don`t freeze rock solid before it gets here this weekend.
