Yes, me too. If I was ever to move to the USA it would likely be a state like a less populated state like Montana or ND which are pretty barren.

Taxes are pretty high in some states too so you'd have to pick the right one if you are retired and crime rate is another factor..

There is more people shot and killed on the streets now a days in the cities but the US is still far worse..mind you we only have about 10% of their population

For every 100,000 people in Canada there is 1.8 people murdered , in the United States there is 5 for the same amount
