I just noticed that you have a 1999 F250 Steve, any details, pics?
I have a 2001 F250 Super Crew Lariat 7.3/271,000 miles that belonged to a friend that passed away last yr, he`s the one that put all that green on it.
Mine is the F250 light duty, 5.4l engine, 3.73 rear limited slip, 4x4 I changed the cloth interior out for leather, 33/12.50 -20 ATZ's on Rockstar wheels, magnaflow exhaust,
No green, am on a black and white kick.. Thinking about getting the Harley paint scheme on it with a denim black on the top half and leave the white on the bottom.
That`ll look neat, sounds like your`s is a keeper like mine.
Mine is parked for our long and very harsh winter filled with road salt but come spring I want to get rid of most of that green.
I`m planning on the repaianting the hood all black and keeping just a bit of the green side stripe in memory of my friend.
I really like your idea of the metallic red accent stripe, it`ll make it really pop.
I had a black 93 Super Cab F150 with a wide red centre section that really looked great.
I really disliked having all that green on the F250 till one day I saw a newer Jeep in a similar green so I realised that this green isn`t the worst but I still want an all black hood to match my son`s 2002 F350. It`s hard to tell in that picture but it has a nice custom fiberglass hood with two scoops.
I think that a matching truck and boat really look extra sharp.
I have a cap that has to be modified so I can sleep in it. It was for a standard cab And hit the top of the Extended cab about an 1 1/2 early. and thus doesn' t snug up to the tailgate. I have used it a few time that way but looks tacky..
