Speedometer wont recalibrate

Speedometer wont recalibrate
The speedometer on my 92 F250 wont recalibrate. It goes into calibration mode(Says I have three calibrations left), displays my current calibration number, but when I push select to change it-NOTHING. The number stays the same. Anyone have any ideas?

Yes I am grounding that wire. I recalibrated it a few months ago when I switched to 35 in tires and it worked fine. Now I switched back to 33's and want to recalibrate it so it reads correctly. It says I have 3 calibrations left. I dont understand why it wont work.

It has to be a bad ground - as soon as you press the button, the display should start to flash, showing that you're changing the conversion constant. Either that, or you're pressing the wrong button.

I figured it out guys. It was just like you said-BAD GROUND. Apparently the jumper wire that I was using has a bad spot in it.
I went and grabbed a different jumper wire and it worked perfectly.
