69 engine/tranny combo
I've had my 69 f100 for going on five years now and I'm thinking I want to do a heart transplant the old 300 just aint got enough horses and the transmissions a little loose so I was wanting to hear other ideas about what I should drop in

John, A 390/C6 will hang some real ***** under the old truck. With a 3.00 rear you can get about 12 mpg handling it gently. The Fe is a great puller when towing. Build it for low rpm power and it will keep a smile on your face.
There always is the 460 that can be built into a monster. There are OD options for that engine too that are not for the FE.
