I believe Kris AKA strokin-it or something built some of his own a while back. Have not seen him on here much lately. Might want to do a search and PM him.

Chris, since you are fabbing your own, the length of pipe is up to you. It all depends on where you want to attach it.

Does it matter if it's long or short? I ask that because i seen some pictures of short one on the internet. I wanted to make it the same angle as the driveshaft.

Rule of thumb, when it comes to leverage and drag racing, longer is always better than short, however, for our applications (weekend racing and such), it's basically (since you're doing yourself), the most optimum place for you to attach, where they aren't too low.
I'd suggest looking at all the pictures on the various traction bar threads here and at PSN to get an idea of what you would like. I know there's a thread at PSN where a lot of guys posted pics of their fabbed bars.
I have done a lot of reading on these and the length is determined by the driveshaft angle. When I get home I will post up some links for you that I used to research
These are the links that Jim (rat96f6) used when we were looking to build some. Now that I am working as the facilities/maint manager for a metal fab shop they might get done.
OK i got some 1.25 OD pipe, is that big enough? Also where is a good place to get the ends for the bars
the link megawatt posted.. i bagged my suburban and built my bars. suicidedoors.com has hiem joints or bushings. you just have to tell them the length you need if i remember rite
