found an e99 ??
found an e99 excab 4x4 330k for 6000. Is it worth it? Can i build a safe 500hp truck with this? I know the miles are an issue,but it's a 7.3 guys. Should I pick it up or hold out for a late 99 early 00?

If you plan on 500hp your going to have to change out the e99 parts to late 99-up anyhow, So I would just hold out. Unless of course the truck is a diamond in the rough.
I come across rust free 200k-300k trucks here for around that price, but they need a little work cosmetically.
