another V6 gone
No reason to be sorry bro,
On some things Ford makes great products, hell they all do regardless of what you'll hear from time to time.(My experiences anyway)
That particular engine is not one of Fords better products-I've been through it with that POS myself-almost made me swear off Ford altogether, but great experiences with past Fords I've owned and with Ford tow trucks, made me re think this, so I basically gave em another shot, and went about pricing new trucks from all three.
Just so happened for the money, the Ford SD250 suited me best, so I bought it. No regrets.
You did what you had to do, It was a business decision, can't sit around waiting and hoping while theres a buck to be made.
The guy at the lot honored his promise to you and you took what he had-no shame in it. I don't like vans- I suppose they are best for AC/electrical/plumbing work, but for what I do Carpentry/siding the pickup suits me better, but I have known people with both brands in a van, and the owners seem to like their choices either way.
Good luck with the Chevy, at least better luck anyway...lol.
