American Racing Stics Wheels

I'm sure that like many of you I have had a hard time finding a good looking wheel with a 5 1/2" Ford Truck bolt pattern . . . well check this one out: it's called the Stics from American Racing . http://www.wheelsforless.com/images/are/325.jpg

wheelsforless.com has some excellent prices and selection from what I have seen, but I have never dealt with them.

Here is another wheel I thought would look good on classic Ford trucks: the Eagle 639

The 5 1/2" bolt pattern on our trucks doesn't give us alot of choices in wheel selections so when I did the pwr. disc brake conversion on my 69 I went the route of changing my bolt pattern. I pulled a set of rotors in the scrap yard from a 72 LTD which is the same rotor but has the 5" bolt pattern and then I had my rear axles re-drilled to 5". Now I'm running American Racing torq-thrust II's; 16x7 on the front and 16x8 in the rear.

Eagle 1439's are by far the best looking rim for a late '60's F-100. I don't know if they come in the right bolt pattern, though.

the stics are very much the best looking of the three. Good modern look, with a good truck lookability. JMO

Its a toss up between the AR23's and the stics. I like my AR Tailgunners. Easy to maintain, look good and are about 50 bucks a pop. Not as purdy as the ones you are looking at though.
