I went on a scrap run today - total in my bitty li'l ranger truck was about 750 pounds of mixed copper wire, four alloy heads from V6 engines, a V6 block, and some dismally low performance 302 heads....

$120.oo net, not bad for a couple of hours cleaning out the shop!

For those in the Atoka/Munford area Worley Brothers Metals will take old fuel tanks (about the only place that will). Worleys used to be Gary Brewers "B&B SALVAGE" out along the 51 - and Gary's son Taylor is still there. I don't know what kind of a deal was made, but Taylor seems to be the head guy in charge.

Shucks, if I had known I could get that much bank for the leftover junk I've had laying around I'd have been there months ago!

I'm fixin' to stuff my truck for another run - they take almost any damn thing, even old appliances. So if the grass has turned yella under your refrigerator it's high time to put some folding cabbage in your pocket!

*Not long ago junk cars hit $12.50 per hundred pounds, it's dropped back to nine. So if you have a hopeless case that you were letting chickens roost in - keep an eye on the prices
If you have a trailer and know anyone with an eyesore they want out of their yard you can make a killing, but MAKE SURE YOU GET THE TITLE - otherwise they won't accept it.

We're talkin' three hundreds for an afternoons work here and it doesn't matter if it's rusted, busted up, or trees are growing up through it...

A few beans between the cheek and gum keep the buzz going all morning.

 

Yeah just grind up some coffee beans and throw them in your lip! That will take care of you alright. Or you could have like some czech buddies of mine drink it....They put coffee grounds in the bottom of your coffee cup......usually 2 spoons full. THen with boiling hot water they pour about an inch of water in and stirr for a few mins. Then they add more super hot water about half way up and stirr again.....then they fill it all the way up and stirr it again, let sit for a few mins and then drink it. Talk about eye opening experience! HAHA

 

or chocolate covered coffee beans...hhmmmm

 

Sorry Steve, I cant have anything chocolate.......as I am highly and I MEAN highly illergic to chocolate. 45 mins and I be a dead man after injesting it...without an eipi pen shot.

 

That sucks. When did you find that out?

 

When I was a baby. I am also highly illergic to bananas too but that was when I teenager when that happened.

 

Same thing happens with bananas too or do you swell up?
